Custom technical solutions

BR Engineering is a Belgian family business specialised in the design and implementation of systems for the processing, internal transportation and storage of abattoir waste.

This means the processing of by-products from the fifth quarter of cattle and pigs of waste category 1 to 3, including the removal of faecal matter, washing, cutting and dewatering of the intestine, stomach, omasum and rumen.

Engineering isn’t our job, it’s our passion!

15 years of expertise

Our manager Olivier Devos practically grew up in the abattoir industry. Seeing that things could be done differently and better with a whole lot of efficiency gains, in 2005 he started engineering and designing his own machines.

Fifteen years on, and from our factory in Roeselare (Belgium), we deliver complete installations based on our own designs, engineering and production. In other words, our customers can count on us from design to installation and start-up.

We’re proud to currently count several leading abattoirs among our loyal customer base, including Belgian Pork Group (Westvlees, Comeco, Covameat), Tielt Export Slaughterhouse, Euromeat Group, Van Hoornweder and Abattoir Aubel Jean Gotta.

Our goal is to generate profit for our customers, which is why we are always on the lookout for new opportunities for greater sustainability and better treatment of their by-product waste.
